Practice and Professional Experience
Kathleen M. McCormick joined McCormick, Murtagh, & Marcus in 2004 and became a partner in 2009 and Managing Partner in 2017. Since joining the firm, Kathleen's focus has been on residential and commercial real estate, land use and permitting, business law and estate planning. Since her return to the Berkshires, Kathleen has been very successful in representing an array of clients in contested land use in permitting matters in various towns.
Prior to joining McCormick, Murtagh & Marcus, Kathleen clerked for First Justice David Kopelman in the Norfolk County Probate and Family Court. Following her clerkship, she was an associate with the Litigation firm of Herlihy, Thursby & Herlihy in Boston. In addition, Kathleen has worked for well-known companies, such as the Boston Celtics, The Jane Blalock Company and Reebok International.
Kathleen is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut. She resides in Great Barrington with her husband Michael.
