Practice and Professional Experience

Michael P. Citrin has been a practicing attorney since 1991 and joined McCormick Murtagh & Marcus in 2006. With extensive courtroom experience, working in both private and public sectors, Michael has litigated on behalf of individuals, corporations and municipalities in State and Federal Courts in a variety of practice areas including commercial, probate and estate, personal injury, civil rights, landlord tenant and collection matters. Michael has also assisted clients with planning and administration of their estates.

Born in Michigan, Michael practiced there for seven years acting as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Detroit and then working for the firm of Vandermale, Bellamy, Gilchrist & Cafferty, P.C. He moved to New York City in 1998 and acted as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York, and then acted as a trial attorney for the firm of DeBlasio, Figman, Epstein & LaRocca.
