Practice and Professional Experience
Kathleen M. McCormick joined McCormick, Murtagh & Marcus in 2004. Since joining the firm, Kathleen’s focus has been on residential and commercial real estate, land use and permitting, construction law, business law and estate planning. Kathleen has also represented multiple landlords in an array of commercial and residential landlord/tenant actions in both the Housing and District Courts. Kathleen has litigation experience in Massachusetts District, Probate and Superior Courts. Kathleen focuses her practice on business and corporate law, real estate law, litigation and estate planning.
Prior to joining McCormick, Murtagh & Marcus, Kathleen clerked for First Justice David Kopelman in the Norfolk County Probate and Family Court. Following her clerkship, she was an associate with the Litigation firm of Herlihy, Thursby & Herlihy in Boston. In addition, Kathleen has worked for well-known companies, such as the Boston Celtics, The Jane Blalock Company and Reebok International. Kathleen most recently was in-house counsel for WARM2Kids, Inc, focusing on corporate, business and non-profit law.
